Finding EFTPOS terminals pricey? A cost you can’t justify? Well, National Australia Bank’s newly launched NAB Edge might just be for you.

NAB Edge boasts a $0 monthly terminal fee and provides built-in surcharging functionality for credit card transactions, with almost no cost to you.

“NAB Edge will help give these businesses access to customers who do not carry sufficient cash or prefer to pay using their card. This means rather than directing them to an ATM or accepting another form of payment such as cheque, businesses can now offer their customers the convenience of paying with a card,” said Ross Iannello, general manager NAB, WCS transaction products.

“NAB Edge also gives businesses access to other benefits of electronic card transactions, such as fraud protection by automatically checking cards against lost and stolen card lists and reduced risk by automatically checking cards for available funds. It’s an easy, safe and cost effective solution for small and emerging business.”

“The NAB Edge terminal and settlement account package will also enable start-up and home-based businesses to offer EFTPOS from the outset—perfect for small businesses trying to build a customer base.”
