Victorian businesses with five to 100 employees can access a new program offered free of charge by the state government to help with their workforce planning.

The My Business, My People initiative will offer free onsite workforce planning, feedback from a business consultant, an action plan on how the business can be improved through workforce planning, and a program to develop management capabilities.

The initiative will receive $10.6 million from the Victorian government over the next four years.

SED Consulting and Group Training Association of Victoria will facilitate the program on behalf of the government, as will Tourism Alliance Victoria, which will concentrate on businesses in the hospitality and tourism sectors.

A toolkit of core workforce planning resources is also available to micro-businesses with less than five employees.

For more information on the program, or to access the toolkit for micro-businesses, visit www.business.vic.gov.au/mybusinessmypeople
