The second annual Indigenous Career Development and Mentoring Conference in Sydney, run by Liquid Learning, will have ‘Strategies for Success in Recruiting, Developing and Retaining an Indigenous Workforce’ at the forefront of its agenda. The main theme will explore the benefits of employment and training Indigenous people.
Other issues covered include: * Building skills for sustainable economic development * Providing essential support through mentoring and ongoing training * Creating a culturally aware workplace that values diversity
The conference will run from 20–21 October, with two half-day workshops also available on the 22 October.
