Businesswomen to be honoured at 2008 Telstra Business Women’s Awards

Exceptional businesswomen from all over the country are set to be honoured for their hard work and dedication to their field in the upcoming 2008 Telstra Business Women’s Awards gala.

The gala dinner, to be held in Melbourne on Tuesday December 9 and hosted by Telstra CEO Sol Trujillo and Group Managing Director of Telstra Product Management and Telstra Business Women’s Awards Ambassador, Holly Kramer, will see one exceptional businesswomen presented with the 2008 Telstra Australian Business Women of the Year Award.

Now in its 14th year, the Telstra Business Women’s Awards recognise the valuable contribution women make to the business sector and the wider community.

This year, 34 finalists from around the country will gather to contest for the national award in the categories of: Yellow Business Owner Award, Hudson Private and Corporate Sector Award, IBM Community and Government Award, Nokia Business Innovation Award, PricewaterhouseCoopers Young Business Women’s Award; along with eight State/Territory overall winners granted the opportunity to be awarded the Telstra Australian Business Women of the Year Award.
