Unemployed given voice with new job website

By Jessica Stanic on Monday, 25 May 2009

Retrenched workers are being given a voice in this tough economic climate, with a new job website JobsToDo.com.au that empowers unemployed Australians back into a job, along with offering cash-strapped consumers the chance to dictate the price they can pay for work that needs to be done.

The free to use job website is a focused channel to source new business by bringing the work to service providers and filling up their work weeks again, says Managing Director Kevin Sherman.

“Many small businesses have to reduce costs and expensive advertising is one such area that can be rationalised with this free website.

“By posting your project to JobsToDo.com.au, you’re pitching it out to thousands of highly-qualified providers.  And because it’s an open marketplace, it encourages competition amongst service providers and therefore results in a better deal.”
