Small business advice website to beat recession

By Jessica Stanic on Monday, 6 April 2009

A number of small business owners and entrepreneurs in Queensland have gotten together to create a free advice website, The Business Advice Panel, designed to help small business beat the downturn with advice on common challenges facing businesses during tough times.

The site has proven to be quite popular, with the site’s co-founder David Tensen, saying that it was about time people had their “own wikipedia” for business problems, free of charge.

“The site has been overwhelmed by the interest since it was launched, both from big and small business, seeking help often anonymously and asking for ideas to boost their planning, accounting, customer service, legal rights, and more,” Mr Tensen said.
