Optimism highest among NT businesses
Northern Territory businesses are leaving the rest of the country behind, taking the title as the most optimistic in the country.
A survey of 1800 small and medium-sized businesses across the country found that seven out of 10 NT businesses are confident about the future.
According to the author of the survey, the reason NT businesses are so confident is because they are yet to feel the affects of the crisis.
“We’re seeing businesses tell us that one of the key reasons they’re feeling confident is that they feel the global financial crisis hasn’t really reached them in the Territory.”
