National Sales Academy offers $150,000 in small business sales training

By Jessica Stanic on Tuesday, 30 June 2009

The National Sales Academy is offering Australian businesses in need of sales and communication skills, access to over 20 scholarship programs, worth up to $7,500 each, in a measure totalling $150,000.

Any organisation in the public, private or non profit sectors can apply for either a Mastery or Business scholarship, to help improve immediate revenue, customer service levels and sustainable sales processes.

Steve Jensen, founder and chief executive officer of the National Sales Academy said the scholarships are designed to “encourage businesses to continue learning, especially the most critical of skills – sales and communication – during times of financial hardship.”

The Mastery Scholarship, includes one full Sales Mastery course tuition, valued at $5,489 plus a $2,000 scholarship to be used by an additional employee on the same course. The business can also opt to use the scholarship towards twelve months of tailored in-house training in place of the second tuition.

The Business Scholarship, includes a $2,000 scholarship to be used towards a Sales Mastery course (valued at $5,489). A second student can also nominate for the $2,000 Sales Mastery scholarship or twelve months of tailored in-house training.

Selection of the successful applicants will be based on the following criteria:

  • Urgency of organisational needs – how quickly results are required based on current business sales success.
  • Proposed student(s) individual sales and communication experience – level of sales training the individual or team has received in the past.
  • Specific individual needs – how urgently the individual requires improvement in their sales and communication skills.

Businesses can put forward an expression of interest by calling the National Sales Academy Scholarship Department on (02) 9955 1500, or by visiting the website, www.nationalsalesacademy.com.au
