ACCC hold franchising code of conduct seminar

The ACCC is set to host a franchising seminar to help businesses understand the Franchising Code of Conduct and the protections it provides to people entering franchise agreements.

The event, Franchising Seminar: Invest Wisely – Know the Rules will be held at the Darwin Airport Resort in the Northern Territory and will include presentations by the ACCC Small Business and Outreach Manager Inta Tumuls and Steven Wright, Executive Director of Franchising Council of Australia (FCA).

The event is free to attend and is designed to help small businesses understand franchising codes and how they are protected under the code, before entering into a franchise agreement.

When? 18 June, 5:30 – 7:30pm
Where? Darwin Airport Resort, 1 Henry Wrigley Drive, Marrara, NT
