Save paper with electronic communications

By Adeline T on Tuesday, 7 April 2009

You can save more than the cost of paper if you evolve your office into the electronic one everyone imagined for the 21st century. Although difficult to go completely paperless, there are plenty of good reasons to reduce paper use.

Direct savings include buying less reams of paper and needing less physical storage space, but the biggest cost saving is the increased efficiency of filing documents electronically.

Technology now enables businesses to label files with several subject tags and even turn content into searchable text. And the best thing is that you can control permissions for who can see or search for these files.
