Softening credit card blows

By Dynamic Business Guest Author on Monday, 24 September 2007

One in three Australians compare their credit card relationship to being trapped with an abusive partner, according to the poll conducted by financial services website ARTOG.

The same poll showed almost half of credit card users have no idea how much interest they are paying.

As a result, ARTOG is now offering Australians a free service to rank and compare major credit cards, to find which one best suits their needs.

“If you’re finding it hard to pay off your credit card, the website can help you narrow down the best low rate cards or attractive balance transfer options,” says Kevin Sherman, ARTOG general manager.

The website also contains a credit card comparison calculator and credit card management advice. “Not everyone is in dire straights with their credit cards, and for these people they may simply want a credit card with a great rewards scheme or absolutely no annual fees,” says Sherman.
