The Federal Government has released a report highlighting the entrepreneurial success of Australia’s 1.2 million small businesses.

The report, Encouraging Enterprise, outlines the government’s initiatives to increase small business innovation and growth, including information about relevant policies for the industry and details of consultations with small businesses and awards for the sector.

The report also features examples of successful small businesses who have taken advantage of federal government assistance. “Encouraging Enterprise underscores the government’s determination to make life even better for the nation’s most innovative businesses,” says Fran Bailey, Minister for Small Business and Tourism.

“It recognises the simple fact that the success of small business is essential to our nation’s economic and social prosperity.”
