Malaysia turns to commercialisation

By Adeline T on Wednesday, 3 September 2008

The Malaysian Government has enlisted the help of the Australian Institute for Commercialisation (AIC) to provide strategic advice on a number of key innovation and collaboration policies and initiatives.

With the government-owned Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) Berhard, the AIC will develop and implement a Malaysian pilot project based on the AIC’s TechFast program. TechFast assists Australian SMEs in identifying and establishing collaborative projects to develop new products, solve business issues and access the latest leading-edge research.
