Australian link to Indian biotech

Australian design firm HBO+EMTB has been appointed master planner of a new biotech park in the city of Vadodara, India. At 280 hectares, it will be the largest Indian biotech park when complete.

The appointment includes master planning, landscape and urban design and architectural design of key facilities including laboratories and ancillary commercial buildings.

The project is a private–public consortium led by Akruti City Limited, with the ongoing involvement of the [state] Government of Gujarat.
